Corpus Christi
This weekend was the first weekend where Brad was able to take off and not have to worry about work. So we decided to go all out and get out of Laredo and take a trip to Corpus Christi. We left Saturday afternoon and got there that evening. Did u know that Corpus was the birthplace of Wataburger? Sunday we went to the beach and roasted for hours. Salt water really burns when it gets in your eyes, nose, and throat. (Brad dunked me) We got there at about 10:30ish and stayed on the beach swimming and chilling until 4ish. By then the salt water was kinda getting annoying and we were as red as lobsters haha. We still didn't want to head back yet so we decided to try out the Texas State Aquarium there in Corpus. It's was pretty nice, they had the playfullist (is that a word?) otter there :) Last night at about 10:30 we finally got back to the suite.

Oh my!!! looks like you had a great time cause you are so sunburned!!! I love the beach. I am going to come back down there and get sunburned too!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI want to go back to Corpus. Next time you go, eat at Doc's. It's under the bridge the goes from Corpus to Mustang Island. Very cool place to eat seafood.
