Out of Touch

SOOOO SOOOORRYYYY!

I know, I know, I know. Been out of touch lately...well...not just lately...for a while actually! Guess I better fill you in on what's been up with my life.

We are done with Texas!! A couple of weeks ago we left Laredo, TX and headed back up to AR to await the time to start up the next job, which happens to be in Pennsylvania! I know what you're thinking...that is a long long ways away. 17.5 hours away to be exact. At first I was kinda feeling humdrum about the idea of moving so far away, but it's gonna be a good experience and I'll get to go places I've never been to before. I also am going to be employed with the same crew that Brad is on. I am going to be their filing clerk at the office and be training to be a titlist (think i spelt that right). So now I've gone from humdrum to nervous. Hope I can learn quickly enough, Brad said his boss is a 'sink or swim' type of person cause she has so much going on she can't train. That's what Brad had to do when he first started. He had learn so much by asking other workers and figuring out stuff for himself. But hopefully the other coworkers will feel for me and go easy on me lol.

Being back in AR so far has been great. And REALLY great for Brad. He needed the break. But our time here is gonna be super busy. When we head up to Penn, we are gonna stay in a hotel for a few days just to get our bearings and then find an apartment. So that means that I have to go through closets, and closets, of wedding stuff that I haven't been able to use yet and find what I need to take. Plus, we are selling our camper, my car, and our boat. So those have to be clean and ready to be sold by the time we leave. Brad's brother Michael has been gracious enough to sell the stuff for us while we are away. We are giving him 2% of what we make from it.

Another excited thing that is going to happen is that whenever we get up to Penn, I get to buy a new car!!! Looking at the Kia Sportage. It's got the panoramic sunroof that I have been drooling over! Super excited.
