New House!

Hey everyone!! So much has happened! Let me start from the beginning...

After being delayed by snow Monday, we started our journey Tuesday northwards. Snow, snow, and more snow. Scenery was getting kinda dull haha. I have to say though that Kentucky is BEAUTIFUL!! It took us two days to get here. So by Wednesday we were getting into West Virginia. We were heading towards a house in Morgantown that we had previously arranged to rent. Well, the lady knew we were coming in on Wednesday, but when we tried to get a hold of her on Wednesday, she would never answer. When we finally get into West Virginia, just a couple of minutes into the state, she leaves a TEXT (no call) to tell us that she rented the house out and to have a safe trip!! WHAT?!? So now we are in West Virginia with no where to go.

We stopped at a Travelodge to rest for the night, and the next day we spent calling people and trying to find somewhere to live. Lots of places to live, but either "no pets" or all booked up. It was starting to look hopeless, when I looked on craigslist and saw a 3 bedroom townhouse for rent. Keeping our fingers crossed we called the landlady up. She told us that if we had called 30 min earlier we would have been able to get it but she just leased it out. (Phooey!) But she said she had a four bedroom that we could come look at...(Yay!)

This four bedroom townhouse is 4 stories!!! Lots and lots of room. Needless to say we took it! So yesterday we unloaded the u-haul (which was due back this past Thursday). We also went to Walmart and overflowed two carts with everything we needed. Spent a lot of money that night!

But all is well now. We have a wonderful house and I started my job yesterday in the office. Kinda scary. But I only had to work half a day since we were moving in. So today I'm putting on my brave face and ready to try to learn all this right-of-way stuff. Wish me luck!!!!
